D1 Oils, Nandan Biomatrix join hands

HYDERABAD: Bio diesel major D1 Oils of the U.K. and the Hyderabad-based Nandan Biomatrix Limited have entered into an agreement for establishing research and development centre for Jatropha seedlings and also to set up a seed bank for bio diesel plantations. The R&D facility is aimed at developing site and region specific Jatropha clones to cater to the large-scale requirements of quality Jatropha seedlings, enabling the development of catchment areas internationally, says a release. The facility will be built in Medak district with an investment of Rs. 3.20 crores. Nandan will contribute 75 per cent and D1 Oils 25 per cent of the investment.
