Syndicate Bank revises term deposit rates

CHENNAI: Syndicate Bank has revised upwards interest rates on domestic term deposits ranging from 25 basis points to 50 basis points for different maturity periods. For deposits of one year and above but less than three years, the interest rate is 5.50 per cent. For deposits of three years and above, it is 5.75 per cent. For 15 days-45 days it is 4.25 per cent and for 46-179 days it is 4.75 per cent. For 180 days to less than one year it is 5 per cent. The revised interest rates will take effect from December 1, says a bank release.
