KARIMNAGAR, NOV. 30. The Bharatiya Janata Party district president, P. Sugunakar Rao, has asked the Government to take measures to ensure release of water from Maharashtra irrigation projects on the Godavari to the NTPC, Ramagundam. In a memorandum faxed to the Chief Minister, a copy of which was released to media here today, Mr. Sugunakar Rao suggested to the Government to prevail upon Maharashtra to ensure release of 6 tmcft of water to the NTPC.
