Seminar on search and rescue efforts

CHENNAI,
NOV. 30.
A two-day seminar on "Search and rescue operations" focusing on aircraft accidents away from airports is being organised by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) on December 2.
S. K. Saraswati, Regional Executive Director, AAI, said the organisation had been entrusted with providing search and rescue services in the sub-continent and adjoining oceanic airspace in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
