Good show by Malik
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 1.
Amreen Malik of B.V.K. Junior College (Visakhapatnam) bagged two gold and one bronze medal in the 50th National School Games swimming championship held in Haryana earlier this month. The performances of the AP boys and girls was released in a statement by the School Games Federation of AP today.
Amreen got gold in the 50m and 200m backstroke events and a bronze in 50m freestyle.
Other medal winners were M. Tulsai Chaitanya of D.L.B. Junior College (Visakhapatnam), who bagged two silver medals (50m and 100m freestyle), and Jagruthi Sharma of Rosary Convent High School (Hyderabad), who claimed a bronze in the 50m butterfly event. — Our Special Correspondent
