CHENNAI, DEC. 3. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over interior Karnataka, rose at a few places over Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Rayalaseema and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were below normal at one or two places over coastal and north interior Karnataka, Kerala, north Tamil Nadu, Telangana, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, south Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin For Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and mainly sunny weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu.
