KOCHI, DEC. 2. The CBI Special Judge today sentenced C.N. Krishnan Nair, Assistant Depot Manager, Coffee Board, Thodupuzha, and three others to one year rigorous imprisonment and a total fine of Rs.45,000 in a corruption case. The charge against them was that Krishnan Nair while working at the Board in 1986 had entered into a criminal conspiracy with the other convicts who were coffee collecting agents and misappropriated funds to the tune of Rs.42,260.
