Faber launches new range of chimneys

By Our Corporate Reporter

CHENNAI, DEC. 3. Faber India, a joint venture between Faber of Italy and Heatkraft of Pune, has introduced a new range of kitchen chimneys, fitted with baffle filter.

The baffle stainless steel filter ensures that the oil and heavy grease particles get trapped at the bottom without getting choked. The filter can easily be removed and washed. The company has also introduced life time warranty on its select products.

Detailing the new initiatives, Kawal Hira, Senior Vice President (Business Strategy), said the parent company was planning to outsource components from Faber India. To facilitate this move and expand the monthly capacity of chimneys to 10,000 units, gas hobs to 3,000 units and cooking range to 1,000 units, Faber India had added a new assembly line at its existing manufacturing facility in Pune. Faber India has a market share of 50 per cent and sells more than 30 models of traditional and decorative chimneys in the price range of Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 65,000.
