KOZHIKODE, DEC. 4 . Senior leaders of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) would be meeting at the residence of the party chief, Syed Mohammed Ali Shihab Thangal, at Panakkad in Malappuram tomorrow to take stock of the political situation. The IUML State general secretary and Industries Minister, P. K. Kunhalikutty, said the meeting would be informal. All he would say about the raging controversy centering him was that media had been hounding him. He said the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, had told him that the Congress high command had not conveyed its views on this issue. Mr. Kunhalikutty said he believed that the credibility of the media had been considerably eroded because of the way developments relating to the ice-cream parlour scandal was being reported. The IUML all-India general secretary, E. Ahamed, expected formally inform the party leaders the views of the Congress high command on the issue.
