Rafick in lead
PATNA,
DEC. 4.
Mukesh Kumar fired a superb five-under 65 to be second behind overnight leader Rafick Ali after the penultimate round of the Rs. 10 lakhs Patna Open at the par-70 Patna golf course.
Rafick, who shot a one-under 69, continues in the lead at 11-under 199, while Mukesh was at aggregate 201 and looking to avenge his loss in 1999 Patna Open play-off.
The third position was taken by the two Indian Open winners Kolkata's Feroz Ali and Lucknow's Vijay Kumar who tally eight-under 202 for the event. Kanpur veteran Shiv Prakash was placed fifth at seven-under 203. — PTI
