Longjam, Abhishek in limelight

NEW DELHI, DEC. 4. Longjam Romeo Singh and Abhishek Verma set new National marks respectively in the overall Indian round and 20m boys individual event on the second day of the 25th Sub-junior National archery championship at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.

The results:

Indian round: Boys: 1. Longjam Romeo Singh (Man) 676 NR, 2. Abhishek Verma (Del) 675, 3. Gajendra Hembram (Jhar) 672. Girls: 1. Paril Lepcha (Ben) 646, 2. B. Honey Devi (Man) 640, 3. Saumya Jain (Pun) 638.

20m: Boys: 1. Abhishek Verma (Del) 348 NR, 2. Longjam Romeo Singh (Man) 342, Roshan (Jhar) 339. Girls: Paril Lepcha (Ben) 331, 2. B. Honey Devi (Man) 328, 3. Saumya Jain (Pun) 325.
