CHENNAI, DEC. 4. Special police booths have been set up in 223 places in the city as part of the security arrangements for the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary on Monday.
A police press release said check posts were erected at all entry points to the city and vehicles would be subjected to thorough checks. The police installed surveillance and closed circuit television cameras at crowded places. Security had been provided at all places of worship.
