Double for Hyderabad

VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 5. Hyderabad completed a grand double for the second year in succession, winning the senior inter-district basketball championships. Hyderabad men defeated Nalgonda after its women had earlier retained the crown, defeating Ranga Reddy at the Port Indoor Stadium here on Saturday night.

The results: men: final: Hyderabad 92 (Pankaj 26, Yadav 22, Jijju 16, Amrut 11) bt Nalgonda 58 (Appalaraju 14, Rama, Babu 10, Sumit Prasad 8).
