Gannavaram airport recorded a maximum temperature of 31.1 degree Celsius and a minimum of 16.0 degree Celsius on Sunday. Humidity dropped from 74 per cent in the morning to 63 per cent in the evening.

oratory skills

Oratory skill is a blessing that helps win hearts, according to the president of the Life Insurance Company's Lalita Kala Samithi, Machilipatnam, D. Chakravarthy. Addressing a seminar on `Oratory skills', jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Vijayawada Central and Vijay Hospitals Health and Personality Development Society, here on Sunday, he said oratory skill was one of the key components needed for a successful public life. Those who lacked the ability, however, need not feel disappointed, he said adding that there were ways to develop the skill.

Interactive session

Tips to succeed in tests like the Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) helps an individual to a large extent, according to Rajni Kumar, faculty member of the IIT-JEE, Hyderabad.

Speaking at an interactive session on `Art of Studying for IIT-JEE' here on Sunday, Mr. Kumar said besides academic help, the guidelines also help a person develop his personality. It paves the way for right decisions and allows him to analyse even minute details of an issue before taking the final plunge, he added. The academics in-charge of the IIT-JEE, Hyderabad, also spoke.
