BANGALORE, DEC. 5. A 15-year-old boy, Venkatesh, was killed when he was run over by a lorry near Kasaraguppa gate in Hoskote Police Station limits on Saturday. The lorry was carrying a load of stones. The police were searching for the driver. Bag stolen: A Kazakhistan national, Noduva Yuvanada, lost his bag containing $ 350 and Rs. 1,000 in cash, and two air tickets, at the KSRTC bus stand on Saturday. In a complaint to the Upparpet police, Mr. Noduva said that his bag was stolen when he was standing in the platform meant for buses bound to Andhra Pradesh. T.C. Ramesh, a resident of Bagalkunte, lost his bag containing Rs. 1.15 lakh in Gandhinagar on Saturday morning. Mr. Ramesh, the police said, withdrew the cash from the Syndicate Bank. The bag was taken away by a stranger while Ramesh was getting into an autorickshaw.
