Man electrocuted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 5. A 47-year-old man was electrocuted when he was putting up a Christmas star in front of his house at Vellayani on Sunday afternoon. The police identified the deceased as Chandran.

Man run over by lorry

Ananda Kurup, 60, a resident of Thottacaud, was killed when he was knocked down by a lorry at Kallambally Junction on Sunday afternoon, the police said.

Clash: one injured

A 35-year-old man was injured in a clash between two groups at St. Andrews near Thumpa. The police identified the injured person as Michael. He has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.

Woman found dead

The body of a 71-year-old woman, Rajamma, was found in the premises of her house at Venjarammoode, tonight. It has been kept in the mortuary of the Medical College here.
