Schools youth fete starts on December 9

PATHANAMTHITTA, DEC. 6. This year's Revenue District Schools Youth festival will be held at the Mar Gregorios Higher Secondary School at Thumpamon, near here, from December 9 to 11.

At a press conference here today, the Deputy Director of Education, V.K. Saralamma, said that the Water Resources Minister, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, will inaugurate the festival at a function to be presided by the MLA, K.K. Shaju, at 3 p.m. on December 9. Paulose Mar Pachomios Metropolitan will deliver the benedictory speech. The MLAs, Raju Abraham, Joseph M. Puthusserry, Elizabeth Mathai, the District Panchayat president, K.K. Royson, and the Education Standing Committee chairperson, Ambika Mohan, will also address the meeting.
