Avi Bagdi shocked top-seeded Saptarshi Roy in the second round of the 34th National junior (under-19) chess championship for Nutrine Trophy in Tirupati on Tuesday, according to information received here. In a Reti opening, Saptharshi Roy seemed to have had an advantage in the middle-game and also a passed pawn.
