Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI, DEC. 7. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell appreciably at a few places over south Kerala, at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were marked below normal at one or two places over interior Karnataka, north interior Tamil Nadu, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Karnataka, south Kerala, interior Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and south coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka, Telangana, at one or two places over Rayalaseema, north coastal Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Adilabad and Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 10 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Thursday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin For Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until the morning of 9th December 2004): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
