Tiruvallur in final
TIRUNELVELI,
DEC. 7.
Tiruvallur entered the final of the ICL Mahaveerchand Memorial Trophy inter-district under-13 cricket tournament defeating Madurai by five wickets at ICRC ground here on Tuesday.
Thanjavur and Kancheepuram entered the semifinals defeating Sivaganga by six wickets and Tuticorin by 82 runs respectively.
The scores:
Semifinals: Madurai 81 in 37 overs lost to Tiruvallur 82 for five in 22.4 overs. Quarterfinals: Sivaganga 76 in 27.2 overs lost to Thanjavur 77 for four in 29 overs.
Kancheepuram 129 for seven in 30 overs bt Tuticorin 47 for nine in 30 overs (V. Aditya four for four).
