A fine all-round display by skipper Rajbabu (three for 31, and 42 runs) enabled fancied E.R. Higher Secondary School to score a convincing five-wicket win over The Boys Higher Secondary School, Srirangam to claim the trophy at the Jaguar Cricket Club silver jubilee inter-school cricket tournament at the Bishop Heber College ground here on Tuesday.
K.G. Muralidharan, secretary of the Tiruchi District Cricket Association, inaugurated the final.

The Boys Higher Secondary School, Srirangam 168 for nine in 40 overs lost to E.R. Higher Secondary School 171 for five in 33.5 overs (Rajbabu 42).
