By Our Staff Reporter
NALGONDA, DEC. 7. Following the recommendations of the Task Force, the district Collector, K. Vijayanand, transferred a mandal revenue officer, placed under suspension four employees and issued charge memos to over 25 employees. The Collector had recently constituted a task force drawing senior officials from various departments to keep a vigil on the employees across the district. He warned the employees of stringent action against dereliction of duties. The recommendations put forward by the task force were reviewed late on Monday night, following which the Collector issued orders transferring the Devarakonda MRO, Hanumanth Nayak. However, he was not given a posting anywhere. Similarly, Anganwadi workers posted at Kaluvakova, Pulimamidi and Matanpalli and a multi-purpose health worker of Aravapalli were placed under suspension. Charge memos and show cause notices were issued to several employees and in some cases, a cut in HRA and salary for two days were recommended. Mr. Vijayanand directed the officials to stay put in rural areas on the night of December 7 or else face disciplinary action.
