CHANDIGARH, DEC.7. The Haryana Technical Education Department has finalised a draft guidelines' document for setting up of new institutions, introduction of new courses and variation in the intake for the academic year 2005-06 for diploma level courses in engineering and technology, town planning, pharmacy, architecture, hotel management and catering technology and applied arts and crafts. An official spokesman disclosed here today that the Chief Minister, Om Prakash Chautala, had approved these guidelines. Giving details, he said that the Directorate of Technical Education would consider applications on prescribed forms received from registered Trusts, registered societies and the State Government for the establishment of new diploma level- technical institutions, introduction of new courses and variation in intake for the academic year 2005-06.These application forms could be obtained from the Directorate of Technical Education here from December 10 or the form could be downloaded from the website www.techeduhry.nic.in. The last date for submission of the forms would be December 30.
