CHENNAI, DEC. 7. The sky on Wednesday will be partly cloudy and the minimum temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature at Nungambakkam was 29.8 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 20 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature at Meenambakkam was 29.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum 20 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in both places was 20 degrees Celsius. Humidity was 77 and 79 per cent.

Power cut

Power supply will be suspended in parts of Park Town and Velachery between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday for maintenance work.

Gita contest

The Egmore Samskrit School will conduct a Gita recitation competition between January 21and 23. The competition, which will focus on chapters seven to 12, is open to the public.
