Boy succumbs
to injuries
A 12-year-old boy, B. Ramesh, who slipped and fell down from the top of a wall at his house on December 5, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Tuesday at the Gandhi hospital. The victim was a resident of Ashoknagar, the Chikkadpally police said.
Gold chain snatched
Two scooter-borne youngsters snatched away five tolas gold chain from a housewife, S. Anuradha, while she was walking on the road near Yellagareddyguda on Monday evening, the Banjara Hills police said.
Rape bid
An unidentified man aged about 25 years attempted to outrage the modesty of a teenaged labourer in Musheerabad police station area on Monday.
A footpath dweller, the victim went to a local high school's toilet when the intruder barged inside and closed her mouth. When the girl raised an alarm, he ran away.
