Live telecast

Sir, — The decision to telecast live the full proceedings of Parliament is good.

From now on, people can see how our elected representatives conduct themselves inside the sacred precincts of Parliament and how much they care for those who elected them.

The issues of public interest raised and the Government's response to these will be open to public scrutiny.
