HASSAN, DEC. 8. The Golden Jubilee edition of the junior National ball badminton had an impressive inauguration at the High School Ground, Race Course here with 26 of the country's States participating in the march past. Only three states, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan and Bihar were conspicuous by their absence. The tournament, which commences from Thursday, is expected to be a keenly fought one. The teams to watch would be the winner and runner-up in the boys and girls' section from the last edition held at Jaipur. Karnataka had annexed the girls' title while Tamil Nadu was the runner-up. In the boys' section, Andhra took the title while Hyderabad was in the second place.
