Ex-MLA dead

The former MLA from Koilkuntla, Karra Subba Reddy, passed away at Hyderabad on Wednesday. He was 67 and survived wife, two sons and two daughters.
In the faction-ridden Koilkuntla area, Subba Reddy was above faction politics. He was elected three times to the Assembly from the constituency. He resigned from the Telugu Desam after the previous Assembly election unable to put up with the intra-party squabbles.
Mr. Reddy, who was a diabetic, underwent treatment for kidney problem recently and was discharged from hospital a few days ago. He died due to heart failure.
