Live telecast of Parliament proceedings from December 14

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI, DEC. 8. From December 14, the country can witness live the entire Parliament proceedings. The decision was taken after the leaders of both Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha agreed to the proposal, according to highly-placed sources.

The secretariat officials of both Houses on Wednesday held discussions with the Prasar Bharti Chief Executive Officer, K.S. Sarma, to finalise the telecast plans. It is understood that two separate national satellite channels, one each to broadcast live full and complete proceedings of both Houses would go on air on December 14 morning.
