Man arrested in murder case
HYDERABAD,
DEC. 8.
The Rajendranagar police on Wednesday arrested one Murthy (20), in connection with the killing of a woman, Alivelu (40).
She was found murdered in her house in Mylardevpalli on the city outskirts on November 25. Murthy confessed to the police of having murdered Alivelu. He fled from the spot after taking away a gold chain, earrings and silver articles, the police said. A divorcee, Alivelu lived in Murthy's house with her son and mother. She shifted to another house in the same locality. On November 24, Alivelu left home saying she would bring back some articles that were left behind at the old house.
She was found murdered in the old house the next day.
