Beating charge, two held

NEW DELHI, DEC. 8. Two brothers have been arrested for allegedly beating the pregnant wife of one of them for dowry, police sources said today. Surendra Jain and Sanjay Jain had allegedly beaten the former's wife Saroj (25) and turned her out of their house in Mangolpuri area in north-west Delhi on December one.

She had complained to police and the arrests were made after the allegations were found to be true, the sources said.

Surendra's father, mother and sister, also accused, were absconding, they said.
