BANGALORE, DEC. 8. The Transport Department is conducting a special drive against noise and air pollution by two-wheelers and three-wheelers with defective silencer in the city. The Transport Commissioner, Om Prakash, has in a press release here on Wednesday warned that fitness certificates and registration certificates of such vehicles will be suspended. He has asked the vehicle owners to keep their vehicles in good condition and produce original documents during checking by the authorities.
