Cloning and ethics

Sir, — This refers to the article "Stem cells, cloning, and ethics" (Dec. 9). The author has rightly mentioned all aspects of the issue.

If new technology such as stem cell research with lots of promise and potential to cure genetic disorders is available, it should be encouraged.
