PONDICHERRY, DEC. 10. The Health Minister, E. Valsaraj, said today the administration had filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court seeking guidelines and standing instructions on admission of students under the government and management quotas in professional colleges during 2005-2006.

He told newspersons that there were difference of opinion on sharing of seats between the Government and the managements. The government wanted to standardise the procedure and ensure admissions were done without fuss, Mr. Valsaraj said.
