Match ends in a draw

KANNUR, DEC. 10. The inter-zone under-13 cricket match between South Zone and Central Zone ended in a draw here. Central Zone, after conceding a first innings lead of 28, was 145 for eight in its second innings. South zone gained two points by virtue of its first innings lead.

The scores: Central Zone 175 and 145 for eight (C. A. Mathew 49) drew with South Zone 203 (Tomy Alexander 61, Ajmal five for 36).
