BANGALORE, DEC 10 Ravi Nayakar's hat-trick powered BPCL to an emphatic 3-0 victory over Canara Bank in the Deccan Herald-KSHA Super Division hockey league championship at the KSHA Stadium here on Friday. Nayakar struck twice in the first half (21st and 28th minute) and later in the 66th minute. In another tie, Central Excise defeated HAL Sports Club 3-1. Ajay Aiyappa opened the account in the 12th minute and later, M. A. Bopanna converted a penalty stroke in the 20th minute and Jeevan Chengappa completed the tally in the 70th minute. P.T. Aiyappa reduced the margin for HAL in the 34th minute.
