MUMBAI, DEC. 10. Karan Rastogi, eager and ambitions as any wildcard entrant, stood down Vishal Uppal's challenge for a 6-4, 6-2 win in the semifinals of the ABN Amro tennis challenge here on Friday. Earlier, Vinod Sridhar ran down everything Vijay Kannan produced and then feasted on errors in the deciding set for a hard-fought 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win in the first semifinal. Rastogi's win over Uppal came on the heels of a straight sets win over Sunil Kumar Sipaeya in the quarterfinals after clawing back from 1-4 down. The winner in the final will get a wildcard entry into the Rotterdam Open men's qualifying draw, apart from $4,500.
