DEHRA DUN, DEC. 11. The Uttaranchal Chief Minister, Narain Dutt Tiwari, has directed the concerned officials to give the jobs due to Uttarakhand activists to their dependents in case the candidate is old or a woman not willing to take up a job. Disclosing this here today, Dhirendra Pratap, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Welfare of Uttarakhand Agitationists said that appointment letters had been sent to about 1000 agitationists who were jailed or hospitalized for atleast a week during the agitation. The Government was also considering a proposal to issue special cards to the agitationists. These cards will entitle free education, health care and travel in State Transport Corporation buses to the agitationists and their dependents, Mr Pratap said. EOM
