Exchange of fire: law will take its own course: YSR

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, DEC. 11. In a cryptic comment on the latest exchange of fire between the CPI (Maoist) extremists and the police in Warangal, the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on Saturday said the law would take its own course, if somebody acted against it.

He told mediapersons after accepting the report submitted by the Commission on Farmers Welfare that the decision on extension of ceasefire, would be conveyed by the Home Minister, K. Jana Reddy.

He declined to respond when a reporter sought his reaction to the Union Minister, A. Narendra's comment that there was neither water nor funds for building irrigation projects.
