CHENNAI, DEC. 11. Tamil Nadu captain Hemang Badani will miss the Ranji Trophy Elite group `B' match against Punjab after fracturing his right forearm during a net session at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday. Badani was struck on the leading arm by a short-pitched delivery from paceman Lakshmipathy Balaji, who is himself on the road to a comeback from an abdominal injury, and the X-rays revealed a broken bone. Badani will be operated upon at a local hospital on Sunday, and is expected to miss action for the next two months. Sridharan Sriram will lead the side in this key Ranji clash beginning here on Monday. — Our Special Correspondent
