Srinivasa upset

HYDERABAD, DEC. 11. Unseeded Durga Prasad of Rajahmundry shocked top-seeded M. Srinivasa Rao of Hyderabad 647-555 in the billiards semifinals at the AP State-ranking billiards and snooker tournament at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Indoor Stadium here on Saturday.

In the other semifinal, K. Someshwara Rao of Kakinada got the better of Govind Raj Reddy (Rajahmundry) 789-561.

The results: Billiards: Semifinals: Durga Prasad (Rajahmundry) bt M. Srinivasa Rao (Hyd) 647-555; K. Someshwar Rao (Kakinada) bt Govind Raj Reddy (Rajahmundry) 789-561.

Snooker: Quarterfinals: Nizamuddin bt S. Shankar 38-68, 56-39, 14-54, 57-45, 29-64, 62-43; Eshwar Sastry bt Jude Alexander 62-71, 78-17, 72-7, 16-85, 13-55, 62-22, 65-53.
