BANGALORE, DEC. 11. The Commercial Street police recently arrested a man who tried to run away after seeing policemen on night patrol. The police gave the name of accused as Manjunath (22) of Wilson Garden. They recovered ornaments worth Rs. 80,000 from him. Manjunath, the police said, slashed his stomach with a knife and tried to run away when policemen on night patrol surrounded him. The police got him treated in a hospital and later interrogated him.
