Sir, — The coverage given to the passing away of M.S. by The Hindu (Dec. 12) shows its love and respect for the singer par excellence. Through her mellifluous voice, M.S. indeed conquered the world!

Sir, — The articles, "You sing like an angel," "Epitome of Bhakti" and "A voice that enchanted" were timely. This gifted musician's mastery over Carnatic music and classical performances left audiences spellbound. Devotional hymns rendered by her will be etched forever in the minds of devotees and music lovers.
