Government Whip wife's jewellery stolen

HYDERABAD, DEC. 12. The Government Whip, S. Udaya Banu's wife, Vimala Banu, lost jewellery worth Rs. 1.35 lakhs on Saturday after unidentified persons stole her handbag at a beauty parlour in Adarshnagar here.

Ms. Banu and her daughter, Padma Priyanka, went to LaBelle beauty parlour at 6.40 p.m. Both of them kept their diamond rings and two gold chains in the handbag.

After some time, Ms. Banu found the handbag missing and lodged a complaint with the Saifabad police.
