Under-22 cricket from today

. The TNCA Trophy Inter-district Under-22 Cricket Tournament will get under way simultaneously at four centres — Tirunelveli, Vellore, Tiruvallur and Dindigul — on Monday.
The top team of each pool will qualify for the semifinals, from which stage onwards the tournament would switch to the three-day format.
The teams: Pool A (at Tirunelveli): Madurai, Tirunelveli, Karur, Tiruvarur, Dharmapuri, Sivaganga, Kanyakumari; Pool B (at Vellore): Vellore, Nagapattinam, Nilgiris, Cuddalore, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Tuticorin; Pool C (at Tiruvallur): Salem, Villupuram, Tiruchirapalli, Thiruvallur, Theni, Tiruvannamalai, Kancheepuram; Pool D (at Dindigul): Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Erode, Pondicherry, Namakkal.
