Zimbabwe to play practice matches in India

VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 12. The Zimbabwe cricket team, led by its captain, Tatenda Taibu, reached here on Sunday.

The team will spend 18 days here before leaving for the Bangladesh tour.

Zimbabwe will play two three-day practice matches, one against Andhra Ranji team and another with a collection of local players here. The first Test against Bangladesh will be held on January 6, 2005 at Chittagong.

The second Test will be played at Dhaka, which will also host three ODIs. Two ODIs will be held in Chittagong.

The team: Tatenda Taibu (captain), Hamilton Masakadza, Alaxander Graeme Cremer, Brendon Taylor, Mluleki Nkala, Digby Ebrahim, Elton Chigumbura, Terrence Duffin, Edward Charles Rainsford, Stewart Matsekenyeri, Vusimuzi Sibanda, Prosper Utseya, Barney Guy Rogers, Douglas Hondo, Chris Mpotu and Tinashe Panyangara.
