RANCHI, DEC 12. The Opposition in Jharkhand today claimed that their charges against the BJP dispensation had been vindicated with the High Court chiding the Arjun Munda Government on several issues recently. ``Our long standing grievance against the government's failure in holding panchayat elections also vindicated by the High Court's December 7 observation that the state government was not at all serious about the issue,'' CPI (M)'s state unit secretary Y.J.S. Mazumdar told reporters. JMM Chief and Union Coal Minister Sibu Soren said the court had only vindicated the party's stance that there was ``no government worth its name in Jharkhand''. JPCC president Sushila Kerketta said, ``the people will give the government the marching orders in the ensuing assembly elections''. ``I will not comment based on media reports, I will only comment after going through the court order,'' Chief Minister Arjun Munda told reporters in Hazaribag yesterday. He was replying to a question on the High Court's adverse observations on government officials, traffic snarls and panchayat polls. Taking serious exception to several issues, including traffic arrangements and ``indifferent'' approach by the government officials in developing the state capital, the High Court has directed the Secretaries of urban, revenue and energy department and others to appear before it on December 17. -- PTI
