PUNE, DEC 12. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Punjab and of south interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, and were above normal in Bihar, coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. They were normal over the rest of the country. Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in south coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. -- UNI
