NEW DELHI, DEC. 13. Woman Grandmaster S. Meenakshi of India won the silver medal in the recently concluded 11th Asian women's chess championship in Beirut, Lebanon.

Wenjun won the bronze, while Vijayalakshmi was fourth. China's Wang Yu, just half point ahead at 6.5 from nine rounds, won the gold medal after she salvaged a draw with Vijayalakshmi.
