Four killed in road accident
SANGAREDDY,
DEC. 13.
Four young men lost their lives and two others were seriously injured when the truck in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck on the Hyderabad-Mumbai highway early today.
The accident occurred near Madri village under the Kohir police station limits of Medak district.
Jaipal (20) of Alugolu, Rakesh (25), Subhashganj, Zaheerabad, and Vithal (20) of Chiragpalli, and Nagender, resident of Bhalki in Karnataka, who were sitting in the driver's cabin, died on their way to hospital.
Nurundayya, one of the injured, was shifted to Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, while Sivraj is being treated at Zaheerabad Government Hospital.
According to the Kohir police, the driver of the stationary truck was trying to rectify a problem in the engine when the incident took place.
